Discovering New Opportunities for Service Funding - Your Agency and Medicaid

Curriculum Corporation for Supportive Housing 3 hours $750.00

About the Academy
A lack of reliable financing for the services in supportive housing can be a real obstacle. Medicaid can pay for these critical tenancy support services, but figuring out how to access these resources can be challenging for you and your agency. CSH can help. With our expertise behind you, your agency can navigate the challenging world of Medicaid, become a Medicaid biller, create a business plan, and ensure agency systems are in place to support Medicaid billing. This Academy will help unlock your agency’s potential to capitalize on opportunities presented by Medicaid to pay for services provided by supportive housing projects. A small investment in this approximately 10-hour 100% online program comprised of 5 virtual instructor-led webinars and 5 online self-paced classes spread out over 4 months (November 2016 - February 2017) can reap benefits for your agency for years to come. All participants who complete the Academy will receive a Certificate! See class descriptions and dates below. Want to host an In-Person Medicaid Academy in your community? Contact training@csh.org.

Team Approach
This Academy-style works best when you have a team assembled to participate in the training program together. Registration is limited to 5 attendees per agency and we recommend you have at least 3-4 people from your agency participate, ideally including the following expertise areas: programmatic, fiscal, and IT. Teams may also wish to include executive decision makers from your organization.

How it Works

1. Assemble your team and complete your purchase (see payment options below).

2. After each team member creates a free account in the Online Training Center, the Agency Team Coordinator emails training@csh.org with this information:

  • Your Agency Name
  • Your Agency’s Team Coordinator  (the person named will receive important messages about his/her agency’s team)
  • Each team member’s full name and the same email address he/she used in account creation
  • Proof of Purchase/Receipt

3. Participants will be notified by email once enrolled and will kick off the Academy by attending an introductory webinar designed to orient you to CSH’s Online Training Center and the curriculum. You will then progress through a series of five self-paced online courses combined with five virtual instructor-led webinars where you will also have a chance to ask questions of experts.

Payment Options and Price
The price is $750 per team of 5 and can be paid for by credit card or check. If paying by check, payment must be received prior to the Academy Orientation on November 10, 2016. If anyone on your team is an All Access Pass holder, please email training@csh.org for a special discount. Note: The trainings that comprise this Academy are only available as a package and cannot be purchased or taken separately.

Paying by Credit Card:

Click the purple “add to cart” button above and complete the check out process. When prompted, create your account. Please note: Although you can purchase this Academy using one account, each participant must then create his/her own account.

Paying by Check:

Please contact training@csh.org for instructions.
